Skydiving Spain 2005
james@miracleofmeditation.com
I have over six hundred jumps over half of which have been coaching jumps.
Where I succeed over other coaches is that they can take on too many students and
therefore do not have sufficient time to devote to each student. Often instuctors
are seen landing, taking off their rig and putting on a new one then running to
get on the next load without taking a breath. I give my students all the time they need, this includes a brief, a de-brief, and a video.
I rarely do more than two to three jumps per day with any student, this enables sufficient time to
assimilate and consolidate that days coaching. I work around my students schedule rather
than the other way round. I can also offer you somthing that no other coaches can. I am a practicing Hypnotherapist
with over 18 years experience and an NLP practitioner. At first glance you might wonder what
either have do with skydiving. With regards to hypnotherapy I can help ease any fears,
performance anxieties or stress you may have with regard to your coaching or abilities.
NLP is a powerful tool which is often used to help someone improve and excell at
something i.e. sport, business or communication. Due to my training I have
developed excellent communication and people skills. I feel strongly that having
undertaken loads of jumps and an instructors course does not automatically
make you a good coach or instructor. People skills are equally or more important.
My aim is to offer coaching at an affordable price and to give quality therefore,
I offer a 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. How many other coaches offer this? Although I am currently based at Empuriabrava in Spain, if you would like some WARP coaching
but do not want to come to Empuriabrava, and would prefer another drop zone such as
Lillo in Madrid, or Seville, than let me know, I would be only too pleased to
accommodate you. Also I am currently on the lookout for coaching work in Europe -
so if you know of someone, or a DZ who could use my skills do drop me a line.
Now the red tape. Empuriabrava has strict guidlines as to who can coach and who
can't and basically unless you are employed by them you can't coach i.e coach anyone
from the dropzone. However it is okay if a coach brings in students from outside. They
also insist that they know up front that a student is from outside therefore
I have to ask my students to sign a disclaimer. Otherwise I may find myself
banned from the drop zone altogether. They appear to dislike freelance
coaches but don't mind accommodating the coach and students when paying
for jumps and also using their facilities. "I certify that I am an official WARP coaching student of James Middleton."
I am not currently a customer of the Empuriabrava drop zone, and will only be attending as
an external student as a result of working with James Middleton as a qualified WARP coach.
"Any further jumping I may undertake after my coaching sessions are completed at the drop
zone will be at my own discretion."
******** I welcome any and all feedback!
